- Remove any accessories from your head and style your hair as you normally would;
- Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the widest part of your head — usually the middle of the forehead and the middle of the back of the head;
- Make sure the tape sits flat against your head. It should be snug, but not squeezing your head skin;
- Bring the end of the tape around until it overlaps with the rest of the tape;
- Look at the number where the tape meets the starting point. That number is your head circumference.
- Use a mirror or ask someone to help;
- Measure 2–3 times to make sure you get a consistent result;
- If you're between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for greater comfort;
- Use a soft tape only a rigid ruler or metal tape will give inaccurate results.
